COMPANY PROFILE
F.lli Rossi pneumatici Srl, who has today reached third generation with Gianmarco Rossi, was founded away back in 1944, in a small shop in the heart of Bologna, due to the willingness of his founder, Trentino Rossi, father of Angelo and Lucio Rossi, who afterward became well known retailers for collectible cars tyres.

At the beginning of the 1980s, the idea of reproducing some kinds of tyres for vintage cars, by that time almost impossible to be found on the market, started to be conceived.
This inspired intuition was proposed and suggested by some producers, and among others, by famous Pirelli Spa, based in Milan, who established with F.lli Rossi Pneumatici Srl a profitable and long lasting cooperation, allowing in this way the rebirth of glorious tyres like:
- Pirelli Stella Bianca (5.50/6.00-18 e 4.25-17)
- Pirelli Stelvio (6.50/16.00)
- Pirelli CA67 (155 SR 15 – 185 VR 16 – 165 HR 400)
- Pirelli CN36 (175/70 VR 15 – 185/70 VR 15)
Besides, several tests were performed together with Pirelli Spa Racing Division, not only wih their competition cars, but also with cars owned by Fratelli Rossi Pneumatici Srl.

Said commercial relationship lasted for more than 20 years, that is up to 2003, when Pirelli new commercial management decided to move the commercialization of vintage tyres to United Kingdom, unexpectedly abandoning all the technical research work previously performed in Italy.
Since the early 1990s, F.lli Rossi Pneumatici Srl has also provided technical assistance on track in Italy and abroad, for two famous one brand trophies “ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA” and “PORSCHE CUP 356”, with Pirelli CN 36 Tyres, specifically developed and modified due to their proactive projecting contribution.
F.lli Rossi pneumatici Srl that, since 2006, has decided to focus exclusively on the field of vintage and historical cars tyres, abandoning the modern cars sector, has become the Italian official distributor for Michelin, Pirelli, Dunlop, Firestone, BF Goodrich and other important brands, and due to said wide product range, is able to provide tyres that cover the entire period 1900/1980.

In 2010 F.lli Rossi pneumatici Srl has completed their new and modern building that hosts the company headquarter, offices, warehouse and an adjoining properly equipped technical area.
In the new building, F.lli Rossi pneumatici Srl can offer any kind of service and consultancy to their most demanding clients, from problems for historical cars tyres, to inner tubes with valves, valves accessories recreating the originals of the period, snow covers (even studded) for cars up to 1920, and also the white band tyres, so in vouge during the fifties.
Due to the new and wide warehouse, best brands tyres of every size are available directly off the shelf, so that it is possible to fulfill all the Italian and foreign clients requests.
Due to the long technical experience developed, F.lli Rossi pneumatici Srl can transfer to clients sophisticated skills and the most appropriate suggestions, not only for the purchase of tyres, but also in the post sale assistance, that, in time, has become more and more appreciated and requested.
Among the regular clients and amateurs that visit F.lli Rossi pneumatici Srl premises, we can find very important names and companies, as, for example “Ferrari Classiche” from Maranello (Modena), whose F.lli Rossi Pneumatici Srl is official supplier, as well as champions and and sport drivers not only for vintage cars, but also for rally etc., along with qualified Italian and foreigner restorers of collectible cars.

Clients have at their disposal a collection of books, publications and technical literature, sector magazines, almost impossible to find also in the most complete exchange exhibitions.
